Beyond Reasonable Doubt

This Jeffrey Archer play tells the story Sir David Metcalf, a rich and succesful barrister who is accused of murdering his wife. We are treated to a courtroom drama in the first act then in act 2 the set changes miraculously to a stylish London home where the events leading up to the death of Lady Metcalf are portrayed. Finally, there is the twist at the end where we find out what really happend

An outstanding performance by Dave Watson who was funny, sad and pompus in different parts of the play. Superb supporting acts from Jan Carter, Jim Green, Maggie Edwards, Mike Button, Leon Kreft and Len Bennet as the Judge

Many thanks to directors Neil Browne and Sarah Rathbone for a most enjoyable evening.
