'DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER'
A Farce By MARC CAMOLETTI

Directed by Campbell Rowe

Campbell is to be congratulated on directing this very funny and hilarious comedy. Everything worked. The script was excellent, the pace lively and the timing impeccable. The cast was of a high standard and totally convincing in their respective roles.

The dialogue was fast, funny, clever and full of double meanings and from the back of the hall I was able to hear every word. Nothing is more frustrating for the audience when this is not the case.

Glyn Bailey, Kymm Loveday and Neil Browne had difficult parts successfully setting the scene and continuing to create the wonderful confusion essential for this comedy. Rebecca Gotts especially good when she was downtrodden. Simon Taylor making a late entry provided that extra punch.

Sarah Rathbone is a brilliant comic actress enjoying her part and using her face and body to the full. Regulars may remember her in "Servant for two Masters". With Neil Browne the couple would add an extra dimension to
"Strictly Dance Fever".

It's thanks to Campbell and to all the production team for a most enjoyable evening.  Bob Camp
